Erika Wise is the program director of Teach For America at Marian University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Butler University in 1998 and her master’s degree in technology education from Walden University in 2004. For over 15 years, Erika has served as a committed advocate of learning in both educational and community organizations in various capacities. She worked as an instructional technology specialist in Indianapolis Public Schools for over seven years. Throughout her career, she also gained invaluable experience as a board member, program director, and facilitator of learning for several local and national non-profit organizations. Her work in education has centered around designing innovative curriculum and technology solutions for urban teachers and students that will lay the foundation to increase student achievement, raise student engagement, and foster a love of learning.
