After a year of coursework, leadership candidates will participate in a two-year mentor program.
Mentors provide mentees with academic and emotional support with a particular emphasis on:
Transformational Leadership and 21st Century Skill Sets and Capacities;
The Leadership Effectiveness Rubric (based on IDOE Building Leader Standards);
John P. Kotter’s work on transforming organizations and the eight-stage process for leading change.
